Reaching up and reaching out

I woke up at 4:45 this morning to catch a train. One of the consequences of working with a team of people scattered all across the country is that, every so often, we need to get together and central locations take priority. Usually for me this means about five hours of rail travel ... I get a lot of reading done, get some sleep, write, so it isn't all bad.
At this time of year, it also means I get to watch the sun rise and that is worth an awful lot of lost sleep in and of itself. We're covered by a thick layer of white cloud here today so when the light first touched the horizon, everything was lit the most beautiful shade of red. I watched it quietly for twenty minutes or so, thinking, then decided I'd share the rest of it with you.
Welcome to my morning sky, I hope you like it.

That's beautiful, thank you for sharing!
