Lamasu and I were talking the other day about Host Club, a fun little manga which features an obvious Takarazuka parody, the Zuka club of Lobelia Academy for Women. We were both convinced that the author put this (and other fan parodies) in because like a lot of us, she likes to make fun of the things she loves. In fact, I was sure I had seen proof somewhere ... and here it is. From the author talk pages at the back of the third collected volume, Bisco Hatori's statement of love and fandom for all to see!
I also have a gift for her, as promised ... a scanalation of the most deliciously Zuka heavy arc in the entire manga! Mistress Benibara!!!!!!!.

The fangirls doing Demachi are spot on though ... as scary as they are in real life ... I shall probably experience this when I am over there ^^;;.
Well... we know that Takarazuka is not = lesbians... but we still like to think it IS... and at least in one case we are almost 100% sure it is
